Seventy five Armed Spirals This area of the Mandelbrot set is dominated by the number seventy five. The spiral we are zooming in on has seventy five arms, and other less obvious manifestations of seventy five are also present. For instance, when iterating points in the attached bulb in order to calculate the Mandelbrot set, the points tend to repeat every one hundred fifty (two times seventy five) times.
